S.M.A.S.H. Club

St Mary’s After School Hours (S.M.A.S.H.) Club is an independent, non-profit making organisation set up by parents and staff, and run from the premises of St Mary's Church of England Academy.

S.M.A.S.H. Club provides realistically priced, quality childcare before and after school in a safe and caring environment within the St. Mary’s Academy building with experienced, friendly staff.


Following the restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic, the Club is open to children from St Mary’s in years 1 to 4 with Foundation Stage children being offered wraparound care by Poppies Nursery.

The varied programme includes arts and crafts, sports, recreational and educational activities and lots of outdoor play. 

Children are supervised by Club Staff at all times during Club hours, until they are collected by their parent
 (or named substitute).

 

Places can be booked for regular weekly sessions on one or more days per week.  One week's notice should be given,
 in writing, to end a regular booking.  Subject to availability, occasional bookings may be made.
However, if an occasional booking is cancelled, fees will still be charged for that session.
All session fees are payable in advance or within four days of receiving the invoice, and are non-refundable.
 Parents may not cancel and re-book the same sessions for occasional weeks off.

Fees and payments for Academic Year 2023-2024

1.  Registration Fee
£5.00 per child, per academic year. 
Payable at time of registration by BACS.

 

2.  Attendance Fees (payable by BACS transfer only)

£5.15 per morning session from 7.45am to 8.45am

            (includes toast and a drink)

£8.60 per evening session from 3:20pm to 5.00pm
            (includes small snack and drink)

£12.90 per evening session from 3:20pm to 6:00pm
             (includes small snack and drink).
