Our Curriculum
In Reception we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
We teach across 7 areas of learning, as defined in the EYFS framework.
We use ongoing observation and assessment in the three prime areas and four specific areas of learning to move the children’s learning forwards.
Prime areas of learning:

• Physical Development
• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Specific areas of learning:
• Literacy
• Mathematics
• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts and Design

TopMarks is a great site to use for interactive activities for Early Years, supporting English, Maths and other areas of learning.
