Our Topic is Traditional Tales

Writing

The goats wanted to eat sweet green grass.

 What would you like to eat?

Paint, draw or cut out and stick pictures of your favourite foods on a paper plate and label them. 

Remember to use your sounds to write the words.

Handwriting

Practise writing the one armed robot letters in your handwriting pack. You could also practise writing them with felt tips, in rainbow colours, on very very big pieces of paper or with chalk.

 
Phonics

Each day practise saying your sounds using either of these resources

This week we are learning the sound ‘oa’

Practise reading ‘oa’ words with Mrs Pattullo:

Look at this week’s phonics activities to give you more practice with the sound oa:

Activity 1 Spot the tiny oa words and read them

Activity 2  Match the oa words to the pictures (page 4)

Remember that there are daily phonics sessions online at Ruth Miskin Phonics 

at 930am for single sounds - Set 1  and at 10am for digraphs Set 2
