        · We are looking forward to getting to know you and working together so that we have a very exciting

and productive year. We hope that your child enjoys the new challenges and experiences that Year 2
          has to offer!
Year 2 is an important year for learning. The children are expected to become more independent
readers, writers and mathematicians as the year advances. The Year 2 curriculum builds upon and
extends the experiences that children have had in Year 1 and they will continue to learn through
exciting topics so that they remain motivated, enthused and eager learners.

        · This term our stimulating topic is Magical Mapping.

        · Our Key Stage 1 Information Evening for parents is on 26th September 2018 at 7.00pm.
